2 e: P- I. [2 M9 m Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
) \9 u5 Q$ P/ k Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.2 P4 @$ W; H' L2 T' u' O5 K6 L8 O
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
' T$ v' y2 e+ | q2 G! j; x Completing required paperwork.
+ z* R4 p/ W1 i8 ^2 \ Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
5 w- p/ u2 w; Y% X5 W, o Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
/ C% A1 @ I( |5 f! q Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
; a0 t$ U0 q$ U Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
0 d3 G" `* T! k: W9 J1 B Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
. g" [5 B* ?' q: C Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

% ^" L* | p' Z$ m Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
" D' P7 Y: Z5 B! K Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.' X+ f, W' P4 a
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
1 O/ ]8 R" y8 A Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.% r/ k# I) o5 C" [) q
 Knowledge of community resources.
7 Z( g- ]% o8 D" d: x Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
Z" R( g3 d _$ @ Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. " P* B* b, u: y: Y! R' \& X
4 F* [. n2 h. a, l5 y2 LPosition:
$ ?6 V) _+ m. M- U* GThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
