$ R2 z; J! U& p/ J Q& W Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
% ?0 [* z; K4 k" `3 U4 c Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.$ F0 b2 Z I9 a# j( k% N, X
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
& O4 Y7 T9 e: F- p$ J* l9 J q* F Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.% o9 I! w" m3 B& V' C8 y7 K
 Knowledge of community resources.# |6 g6 C8 k) Q: c# u8 l! a h, F* Z
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
& D6 q* ~0 s3 M. I4 F, [- Y$ ~# y Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:! G# u7 \6 |4 K
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
+ \' c& a! w% Ostarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period. |
