 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
' g7 n1 R. c) d Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site./ p" b/ q M4 K: c0 F# e2 S6 ?( M
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.. [! v! M4 r2 I* x" U. Y0 O9 k' @- H! o+ L
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.- f2 D5 j& n" h/ @: U, T, ]5 P
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.. {% l5 o; p7 s, T% \$ T, t

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.% P1 F4 I# C" C, j
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.0 t7 f8 v7 U8 J% p! i
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.! p. u: P3 Q7 d: [* H% Z
 Knowledge of community resources.
9 R% C2 S2 [: T$ a Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
7 x; A- y) K* o; r y4 V Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. , y4 H1 b2 Y2 z$ w/ O1 H% o4 l( d

Position:
3 {; |4 y5 h, q6 d; BThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
