The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

' x) I5 X# K: ~2 j- q O4 nThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required, ?/ l& `& K9 w
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
3 P, ?$ Y0 ]5 z& G• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads9 W3 k# O4 @) f# P$ e4 b7 s$ j
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
; W3 Y& `6 c5 o2 l. j5 z8 i• Input and manage high volume of data+ m' L. L' I: P. _: V' h
• Update and maintain databases
; ]( A/ p' _% Y7 L l• Generate monthly reports and statistics
. T6 W1 M5 g5 Q3 y. `' ~• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation5 M; h9 E4 ]2 P! {: \, f: c0 |
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits/ } I3 P' Y- R: F
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms- D; ~; v# b* p+ u! z
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 ~7 z* D6 i4 b/ m/ ?; Q
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre( @, t" e) W+ c) d
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:) A, ^7 l# ~( ~# E6 j' R: T

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure2 `+ x; ?0 m* N- e$ W Y& A1 y
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
F- Q- U( `. K- e- J• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities: U" J7 M. [! l/ R( s G
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
