The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. / [) D: l& t; s7 E
, o* v. v9 d0 N; gThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.+ T; u2 m# ^! K9 ~0 W

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
! s8 b/ L6 q# F# U• Input and manage high volume of data; [, A# j4 c7 _' p1 y
• Update and maintain databases
" \' H6 H; t5 A% _3 J• Generate monthly reports and statistics
. ~+ h- C+ w( I a' g( l$ G• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation$ J- Q3 y4 J* l( `' @
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits) k! }, [& L( x, [% \6 w3 `' \
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms" ~# I/ l- p$ m' C. t3 b) q, z" Q8 L
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors) G2 S7 [3 @* \( A9 ~$ e
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
# O7 [9 K; d4 i: O- q; z2 E• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

8 A) u8 g9 g9 r }! y& r: I0 v" B• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
$ s$ x b3 m% W2 S: s' i3 a `8 x3 n• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ) ^2 i& M7 c3 b0 j) k
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
0 p3 v% r3 {% m; V# w2 c( b• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work0 Q7 T/ Q! _/ l; M; Y v# U
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities+ n0 Y/ @/ t# z1 F1 Y9 @
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
