The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 3 ^* o7 k7 O6 ]. z7 m& e y2 F! y

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.' S" X8 b5 o6 u9 B

Reception:
6 W0 U8 t3 o* c% o8 c• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required& X3 c& S0 b. U* z
• Answer multi line telephone system8 q! ]* L; g9 _& f5 t+ g8 ?
2 b1 y+ |" ]( c' {9 CAdministration:2 G3 T9 E/ k s! J7 e
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
' G2 ]' T/ h8 m7 D7 S/ ]• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
6 j4 r, U U% F• Input and manage high volume of data' U( k- E: k2 S% o
• Update and maintain databases! G) N$ M1 W3 e% V7 d( f, Y
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
# ?* `# {" g; p• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
( N& t0 P/ t) f6 _7 C' v• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
7 G$ l% j' c9 _5 d6 t- P4 c• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
+ ]6 I2 ^ `2 b* ?& Q# P• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
+ O5 w) k$ O- R• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
; c; [) P9 S9 ^2 i( Y• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients9 k) N5 \0 ?: ~/ G# o1 `

Qualifications:

9 N. U, i- ]5 g7 K• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
- `' B1 f8 j/ G7 \$ ]* ]• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
7 X% Q: `) B% K/ S; f' s5 T8 U• Excellent verbal and written communication skills5 {* ~5 N. U" k: z# c8 H5 K5 n, o
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work# t( ]) Y, d9 ~ o% y& t! u; A
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
/ |2 C+ Y$ j% B( X Z• Strong customer service skills$ i6 b' [. S' p' P( E
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
