The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.& f4 `% J- H1 {' o. ]1 u

Reception:
' }/ p |3 x! f( N" @9 @, I9 J$ ]• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required( w9 x+ p! O7 D3 j+ p# T5 c) l
• Answer multi line telephone system! U _7 H. l% Y/ n. i- f4 b0 r# @ ~7 m
# }1 P# K1 S) Y0 i; PAdministration:
3 m% M5 D" `+ ^9 ` H• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
+ u2 v( G. n2 u• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
' Z% v0 F0 v0 _# ]+ _3 P• Input and manage high volume of data& N( E- C( i: ~; O
• Update and maintain databases
) V+ _& A9 f R+ _$ P• Generate monthly reports and statistics" a, e( A' O7 N' z
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
, K6 ^- A# N* y, d2 Z• Process payments and complete weekly deposits; \; ~1 s5 X* d9 n$ U% e8 g5 l
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
% ]. j! {- b- y, p: o0 V• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors" f; L/ `& `# P2 C" ~/ ~. L
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre( Q$ X" G" s- a$ g
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients* Q* ^2 _4 G2 P

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
9 M/ U7 G G+ m+ P- x0 V• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 4 E f5 n. n0 o
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. W- p+ t% |3 Z% [$ H$ E• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
& F* d+ \/ l" R; C3 v: y• Able to interact positively with a diverse population" D& x$ q5 f& r. A# R2 L
• Strong customer service skills, _# Z3 B! L% P& x
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
