The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

% U. Y S) W7 L$ wThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
# S$ E4 c7 H0 S( y0 J* W• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
2 v6 g8 {( X! \ j7 r• Answer multi line telephone system( F# N1 K N0 V) E

Administration:3 A- C* M! v e0 q( X6 s
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
7 P3 P# t2 M& _9 r. o. V• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
8 f7 i0 G5 `" Z• Input and manage high volume of data- F+ J2 X5 }+ G3 i: W% g$ c7 |0 h
• Update and maintain databases6 c) d1 r: u6 D! j& ]
• Generate monthly reports and statistics$ u# ?7 n* b; m H I* N
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation3 r/ f% i# p) R2 o" m4 p
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
4 x" X9 \3 t* S4 ^ ?2 c" a• Write and revise business correspondence and forms4 _9 I; P3 g8 P1 K# s& t
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
0 }) |4 W- i% W* j F8 V. V* Y( d" z• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre. Z, b& j B) P+ x# X2 z
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure) s" ^0 e" x7 s# f8 E& D
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 1 r! w! w" a! G' H* s( G+ q* F3 U
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2 h, ^: w; X' J; s• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work, t" T4 N+ p$ v% | j" Y
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
