Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

5 C$ x$ n4 \9 |; }  z0 Y5 r! }Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
* U* P% s- O- x0 ?, _Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
/ m- R4 k4 \& e3 y2 b4 L. kMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

# k3 Q- |9 u" i3 q8 K2 d4 vQualifications
7 c4 o. l' p1 r: F1 b5 M
Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
) Q. Q( P1 y$ ~6 }5 a% k: KMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
8 f; C7 b" R- ]5 H- g- `1 GExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
0 R) T. ^) }0 p. A% n3 lCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
1 ]4 ^' R# g" s. ^1 ^) pAbility to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
