Major Responsibilities:
" Y( c! d- x6 ?. i• Process research equipment design;, f( x2 K; b6 R, @8 `
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;8 x) N$ T5 C7 L; D" |& a" l
• Equipment fabrication guidance;: s, V1 g7 v1 A. p1 J5 X
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
Z) E5 ]8 f, p# A/ |) G• Others.

Qualifications:
1 m+ U4 M) e- s. s1 M8 x• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. 2 Z) x8 R# b: }5 x7 R& u, p
• Equipment design experience is required;
8 ` B8 T3 `8 M• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
# A# y0 z0 g( P4 |8 D. W: J• Familiar with CAD software;
8 P1 H3 T# `2 E0 r• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;6 l/ j5 J& T; I5 ~7 N
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

* R' I3 S6 Q/ t6 n; bSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 3 }, f& I3 F9 k b5 ~% k
