• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
' F$ d3 f7 Z% X7 v7 w% N I• Equipment fabrication guidance;" v% v+ F( I: D, a# r2 q' n
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

4 K- O6 O) E+ R& V2 e7 BQualifications:
9 ~' B+ B1 J; H% P8 b/ y% N. t• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
7 K. B- h! D) z, n1 u3 N3 o$ B• Equipment design experience is required;$ s+ n) b0 v( K! m! n f% ?
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
/ W. Q6 s* Z- g0 B/ h* Z• Familiar with CAD software;
" u# @/ H6 g& R9 a. l, l• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;1 O! _7 _0 e* i- b' |# F$ ]% L
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets., s- r/ n3 D$ @, @4 H! {

Compensation:& s5 R# f* [; i
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 8 ]) l. I- R2 V4 S7 K2 n/ ?
