• Process research equipment design;; m9 D5 _4 [8 H) I/ L, d6 A
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;; [% B. a. i# \/ v i
• Equipment fabrication guidance;
1 O, x2 n- }( h0 J: F; Q6 U• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;2 J* q) L$ z. e% m5 T0 _, s8 O) a
• Others.

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. 0 e" v1 W: R7 V! W
• Equipment design experience is required;
, ~% _% \* k7 Y j• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;( _) A* o. N; g4 V7 W+ f+ U
• Familiar with CAD software;
/ k: V: h2 L5 r* ?* L% D• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;7 d% i. {/ ]: e$ y9 I6 @
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

6 P, y% O: J; F9 p5 V3 E. YSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 1 `. T* T! W' ]8 I- r
