# `7 F* R0 D( q9 p0 N9 w$ e• Process research equipment design;2 `. |( Q) j- r, [9 g! ^
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;( W* i: Z% t) V5 h' j8 V
• Equipment fabrication guidance;
( j# C. z8 A) ]• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
- N9 j; O: J+ s6 j4 v• Others.

, A( }& D1 P9 C9 G* Q, sQualifications:5 z+ F# e P. O' V
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
G/ ~- E b* W, N( W• Equipment design experience is required;9 O5 q5 x& y& P9 ^
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;1 l8 O% [# j* s& R3 a
• Familiar with CAD software;& o- Y6 T! l* X( h$ f) H% v
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
5 \; [4 H: O2 z& X6 E• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.4 f, H! F7 Q) |5 T) \4 ~

Compensation:
, D% w3 M8 Y5 E' R% hSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
