As long as you don't hook up your device to your computer (called syncing), the document will stay there. If you do sync your device and it stops working, you'll likely have to download it again.

我是上他们的网站上下载文件，就不明白我的设备出了电脑还有什么？电脑的同步化一般是指什么呢？

这里的设备(device)肯定不是指电脑(computer)，是指另外一样东西，比如手机，掌上电脑，iPod Touch等等。根据日期时间不同会修改你的文件，达到同步化。
