Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
' x4 i' X; c" V, Qment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
8 O9 C; n6 `  Z7 m, A$ yThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
6 g9 _- x4 K* ^. ?/ \, b+ }Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
+ {+ [; n5 u7 H( SŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
/ k/ v* y2 R+ RŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
3 V+ H5 j1 @% limplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

6 o7 k. s' f" |  q" JQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
2 l# X! u2 M. Z; [education and experience;
$ ]) D0 i" p' e- I" sŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
8 b! J5 r/ v) dŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
& Y& C$ d7 ]# P! ULac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
