Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
' v7 `% k+ [7 H7 ~Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
& o4 r  l9 U, w* \& w& O1 I* |Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: q" T+ z& h' b6 B" @support;
$ J( s0 y( R; R/ {! OŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
/ ]& S1 V3 |0 d! e; v! Mimplementing staff wellness programs;
* c/ Y8 J6 @6 Z; R5 ]Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
9 k' Z4 k7 j1 }7 Z1 z- m- o/ dŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
8 A0 }7 D* A" r7 dŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
8 ]7 e. ^9 K- cŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
8 I# Q, t7 x. t& y8 Geducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
& r7 H  z1 C# ?( E3 D0 D0 iŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
