Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
2 f/ L* F: |9 P7 g7 c1 L+ v( Ament as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
1 D# }: ~+ h# t$ }+ k' Q! V/ Q/ w% b; {Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
6 n- D/ [( H- a4 B0 sthe organization;
7 A2 o# v' i# H3 W0 C- I" LŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
6 S; _( ]5 J9 ~3 xŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
1 n1 c. i- N5 P  ^" _education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
8 v4 K" A2 o+ [1 Y' J, NŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
6 g+ ?! ^4 ~. S2 `. k6 m; ?, ~Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
- g. A$ A" B, ], l$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
6 C/ w  J! X$ p0 C* f2 NIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
