Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
5 s7 G# V* _0 h, A6 I8 aManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
( y5 y/ h& ]0 I, MŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
+ ~9 ?8 n, I0 y5 Qthe organization;
, L+ T; f, ?6 M) i) VŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
  T  ]7 W5 i4 bŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
/ U5 Z6 A. U1 c$ iŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
) C3 E" m. e# YŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
5 m2 K# W3 Q$ |/ a3 G* l4 Z, cŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
0 b5 p9 h1 E8 v. [education and experience;
6 Q6 C9 n! ]: ]" V- MŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
& @  O! }- ?; @& y6 xŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
. x  `6 z0 u5 ALac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

4 x' A; ~6 j/ t+ {8 ^9 ^( Jsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
& j" W; @# C- e. D6 N6 kdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
