Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
2 V1 `) O1 \$ X4 @4 y% @Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
9 F, \  @8 r, N1 J7 v7 R9 j, XŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
' E4 I# O) ^+ s& F1 sŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: j4 H' ?. B9 @support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
6 Y! I8 G$ \# b) Pimplementing staff wellness programs;
& T1 Y6 n4 N* k/ o6 T7 iŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
+ E2 }# a6 {$ d3 gŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
' t2 M+ X; @( J: g6 v: H9 N7 e5 OŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
% v1 H; R( G( |6 e! y' C* o- `9 Yeducation and experience;
7 F3 K. [/ S/ d+ EŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
1 A! Z3 ^5 H* dŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
2 l  R9 c6 q" C7 U5 t. Y, E7 UŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
! z9 m0 I% |  v! p8 a5 |) vLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
: y$ |2 t4 W7 p) P3 x# N! T$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
