我在国内上大学、研究生学的是化工机械专业，毕业了在中石化的一家炼油厂做了7年检维修，之后到上海做了2年。来加拿大一年半了，现在在一家铝焊丝生产厂做机器操作工。很想找回自己原来的行当，做项目工程师。Fort Mcmurray有很好的机会，怎么才能够找到一份入行的工作呐？
大家一起努力了。

最终只有一个结果，我们胜利了。没有胜利，就是还没有最终结果

我电话面试的OPTI Canada，还没有消息。原来说的是2周内会告诉结果。到2005年11月24日就是两周。电话面试完了，我写了Thank-you letter的E-mail跟进，结果还在等待中。

另外就是有中介的一个机会，需要明天先打电话联系。

The requirement of a project engineer is not as much as that of a project manager. I am applying to a project engineer. And just got a  negative answer as follows.

Even the project engineer needs to talk a lot if it working location is in the field. If the position only deals with the project design, not the on-site construction, maybe there is less requirement of communication.

It is better to submit your resume on the company's website rather than monster or workopolis.

2 \. M3 [) y& i5 W* d" H, G  EReading a book Winning Cover Letter reminds me that a good cover letter is as important or more important than the resume.

A long way to go to get a dreaming job. Will stick to it.

It is my third day of job hunting.

1 p  I& v9 c$ WWinning Cover Letter is a good book I am keeping reading today. On the way home, I went to the library to get the Winning Resume.

% O1 R( U  P( b3 [3 o: y4 L: K7 J; dFinding a good job is a process of learning, not only a result of luck.

2004年6月9日来加拿大。

在多伦多downtown住过9个月的地下室。

2 m& H' s( b0 Z& u& y3 ]& b1 `在Mississauga找到上一份工作后，搬到Mississauga。一家人和别人分租公寓，一年多。

5 u& i7 W& E+ a  Z, O# X! V8 i# W  r现在是自己一家人住着这个2室一厅的Apartment。是我从出生以来，所住过的最好的房子。哈哈，我在中国混得也不怎么样。

上一周刚买了一辆Toyota Echo，2000年的，20.4万公里。上任车主每天开高速往返Burlington与Mississauga。我们是第二个车主。买车都是太太在张罗，太太的功劳。

晚上聊起来，意外地发现，买车的日子刚好是我们来加拿大2周年的日子。

4 m- C' Q3 l6 b9 i& y想起几天前在网上看到该不该来加拿大的讨论，我觉得移民加拿大是一个过程，先苦后甜。性格决定命运，不管收入多少，喜欢先苦后甜的过程，就应该来加拿大。
