"Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.

A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.
& X& P8 b$ H0 _* \5 C They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.
* p$ y8 p2 N' Y8 T6 c Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.
"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
