My name is George Hodgson, and I am running for the nomination candidacy to be your next federal Liberal candidate in Edmonton-Strathcona.

My service to the Liberal Party of Canada dates over 20 years of dedication to the party. I have worked as the Vice-President for the LPCA, served on the riding association, and acted as both Organization Chair and Rural Campaign Director in the 2004 election. 1 E5 k7 }7 J9 s \3 P% x

The Liberal Party of Canada is strong in its policies and all-encompassing in its membership – and this is reflected in my years of loyalty. I also believe that the most important priority of an elected official is loyalty to its constituents. The upcoming Federal election will bring a number of important issues to the forefront. Edmonton-Strathcona needs a strong representative who will work hard within the constituency, and it is time to elect a Member of Parliament who will bring its concerns to Ottawa.

Edmonton-Strathcona runs south of the North Saskatchewan River, from the eastern city boundaries to west boundary, and the south boundary of the riding is the Whitemud Freeway.
