available at our Edmonton Petroleum Lab and Fort McMurray
locations.

Minimum Requirements
. j" J  T% F2 H4 d# `- Degree/diploma/certificate in the sciences; chemistry/biology
or other science background essential for Analyst positions,
an asset for other positions
0 O: e4 \% D  x- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment
1 P0 j4 _2 y1 V  D, }2 G, n- Possess good computer skills & a strong work ethic
, C1 l% A4 V8 |$ m+ V- Have a good command of the English Language

  \* a5 S% W3 Z; y' s- nReceives and prepares samples for labs (includes: dividing & transferring samples to appropriate containers, storing samples, entering jobs into system, dumping old samples)
, ^( b; [" L  P6 ]% z, w5 |Responds to some customer enquiries, requests & complaints (bottle orders, sample prep procedures and turn around time)
! a* u7 |6 F4 l6 a! p9 ]8 BConfers sample status & lab capacity with analysts
0 u: b8 E1 b; g) j1 P! h( _" PAssist with invoicing and reporting of client data
Defines customer requirements per transaction
; ]8 F- A! Z2 F) |' }! F1 G

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, or B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in relevant sciences would be an asset
Previous laboratory experience an asset
: I+ e0 ?) |' c+ n  YAble to deal positively with customer concerns
Excellent communication and organizational skills
: v8 o6 l# Y+ G* f% @! Q) r; `eneral understanding of the environmental industry
' ]3 ?) O6 F* U; m" s& Rstrong multi-tasking capability and comfortable with routine work
/ G) X  {* y4 ^* f7 _# VCompetent computer skills
Work effectively as part of a team
