JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
( J+ g% B1 U& _( f" Hthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
% i9 p+ a" z  P+ m# _, m- K' L• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
# ]. }/ R, f! J' V4 l% ?1 P0 J• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
  ?9 ]; K7 q7 U8 r9 w  l4 O• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
3 t& n( t6 U8 h# M2 w5 p• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
& V+ \4 z; d$ h% b  A+ D( u; g• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
- h( `3 P: z+ I! Q• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
5 x' X/ y& o. o# u* C• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
( g0 G2 ~1 C  ^* I* Z• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
. u" L- l& f) d. t• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
/ y) K5 q6 [- w. I2 achanges in strategies

Physical Requirements
  D3 {/ t7 T; ?3 c• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
. p* D9 d# |3 N6 A7 S+ Y• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
6 Q" r; `6 W' J: J( {: L; c5 x; t• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
