# J7 G0 N# w+ D$ y# EJob Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
! E7 i- H' {5 @that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
1 p3 a- l/ P$ y) H+ dcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
4 R- M( N2 s7 hthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
" |& p. w4 I* Y- }• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
( ?$ H. c$ C, U9 T8 {& \• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
( A7 R) I1 N7 ^: E# Estock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
5 Z8 ?' O. T- R# I2 q" z' Hlooks under 25 years of age

• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
$ Y8 U4 C& T  y: S( y. y6 p( [, i- Y, x• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
8 [0 t1 I( n! F8 Q  l9 @- L• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
" l, r9 U, S4 S* ]  j2 u• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
, P0 V- f$ q4 Fchanges in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
+ I# H/ l: E/ Y- d7 S• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
