Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
* G: A) f( F0 z. a% hoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
- B6 _( L  R  K7 cthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
, t, P' }; K  c( |! Y. d% [Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
" y1 j- m* z- k! B9 a$ ]• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
, b" c. `4 }. X2 b• Assist customers find what they are looking for
8 y/ V8 _' f* ~1 j% \• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
5 o& m/ Y) ~; o: |Store Responsibilities
, g3 j  b0 l% k6 f/ ?6 |• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
/ i" q6 H/ w$ D- k  |• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
5 k$ k% r5 T! ?2 C  T• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
: {. ~/ i% i  w) l4 I• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
5 l' K2 n( L7 i7 n• Criminal record check.
# U- S/ b4 G/ d# s2 n4 ^! u• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
$ b, r& g/ f) ^- P& L& t% S• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
2 B+ r& t+ B3 n- a& A• Standing for extended periods of time
6 h7 l: ~5 r% l# Z1 b• Comfortable climbing ladders
