SALES CLERKS
! S' L, l1 h5 Q6 X$ kJob Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
4 k4 F3 j: W. }' Sthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
# L' o( h$ A: H5 Fthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
5 F+ r% e8 H  b. ?, A: N0 RCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
8 y5 x4 ^$ x9 d" Y! A) _) m• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
: N0 [, m8 h& j9 a. H$ k0 A& Y1 alooks under 25 years of age
5 W$ k/ O7 `9 V6 L- I; y, z) z* i  i' |Store Responsibilities
9 r. Y5 p1 s/ `' A) U! B( k- ^- E2 v/ i1 v• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
4 G* s9 i$ d2 S8 U8 g% ?' Q5 Z4 I• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
) Y. {  S8 @- O  i$ V$ h2 l( K: @• Protect company assets at all times
5 w( G2 S3 O: g+ f3 k" e• Close the store (key holders)

5 M' k3 m4 Y/ b( h- e' x) VQualifications
( F, S6 Z' F: S! i9 O5 O• High School graduate
+ H, c; i2 p4 e/ Q8 u& q$ e• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
. s8 ?0 z: V  F9 B+ f9 l; }$ B• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
, ?. ~& v1 [) Hchanges in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
8 d3 t& `+ H* ]" F• Comfortable climbing ladders
