Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

6 P* D& p% U$ @5 I Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

, ^" d& {; O* o# E# HWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

( |, ]: c) d" Q9 {1 b, G! TOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

3 j% B+ d' G8 p8 sWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

# y, ^1 A# U0 s" ^& o  v( K& SWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

" k/ ~' L% E, o3 C5 l: @! uProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

B: f2 S5 l- q6 z. w, MSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
  z; D0 Y0 H& z  c
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

3 l1 \6 j; n* Z, g( YGas industry experience preferred;

0 w5 Y, d# ?! _1 l7 GExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

1 |+ o! t# ?% c) DExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
) y# A9 w) p1 x1 {0 z
Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
