  x" g4 M$ q+ U6 z; Q5 Z! m Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
5 I: g! b( e/ W: O! g7 n. n Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

  J2 T. x9 Y: vOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
" Y5 f, `+ h  s' g4 I! w  ZManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

, n( `: K5 i( }0 iProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

3 Y9 V2 p0 t9 ]* [2 o" aSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
) {# O# E) Y; F Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
! n$ F( p$ f, t' O2 g
2 b# h6 S. S% @. `, }) ^Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
! m* ^* j" n7 |& g: C
Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;

9 T) N" p5 J" E- e  }; j* rStrategic thinker.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
