O$ C( W! `8 |" r, i0 N Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

! G# x1 O; c2 l* ?$ T Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

7 f( l+ I; y3 hWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

9 ^! U: \7 a1 D  }3 u+ aOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

5 b" ^' R6 _- [7 o4 F4 yLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

# z3 t) n6 ^: P* nWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
; Z' b" }! c4 x9 s7 N8 O5 w" yManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

5 p& [8 e* v( f1 b& D) D+ tProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

R/ Q  RSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
! k$ t0 f4 |* @; x  T
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;

4 C6 V9 R  s: I7 UExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

0 P# F1 t$ h2 X( p0 c3 XExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
5 Y3 o7 `# }( E9 x/ d. H! z
Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

4 Y. k! V8 O1 D$ ZA high degree of personal initiative;
