Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

' K5 K4 h: W( j Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

1 P1 O  h9 s) {4 K* V. Z' |Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

% T% [( [: `2 E! J& Q+ s& Z% `Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
: W- O9 e/ x9 f6 _Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

8 y" N2 a: I: P/ ]7 DProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

2 L6 n& c6 g3 T$ fSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
0 ^4 c8 _" L/ u1 w Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
' u5 w5 ~! j1 `/ x& G7 V" T
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

0 B3 b+ s: Z9 h6 N6 C- ^) h7 LGas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

; l/ y' W1 g# }7 i$ {% ]9 U; AExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
