Department Information  
+ O8 j& T1 z& G6 M7 S Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

4 f; J! A6 s; y Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

2 j& f( ?! J! }% t& Z0 z, nWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

# {' y  T- s9 b3 n. x# DOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

0 K& l1 F# z# a. z5 {Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
+ P/ t5 W) W% q/ |- [1 |' `Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

' m7 v- I5 t$ HProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

R# x7 ~Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
' p' k4 X4 z( H: S" L) o! _$ U
Gas industry experience preferred;
" d4 a- ~9 d  ?
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

% h4 {  Y# L" \: k% x, _8 VStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
