/ E" y: X+ x# W& `Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

# G4 I' @" r4 HKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
. r. x/ h. s9 @( W4 Q- U7 m% ^: [        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
5 k" ?! [6 a0 E0 Z6 y6 y8 i" L! \        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
" }. Z# l! E# @2 g1 w6 ?& F        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

% Z) {; m  H1 y- ~6 a9 mQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
. `5 S1 l% f8 y•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
7 k' p/ P& m( n' I•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
. R1 G; y0 b( ~; J5 {5 u/ N! R•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
