! P( p( S# J4 nReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ ]. Z( z2 \$ p' v7 A% O        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
! D/ B$ Y5 e- P( o4 c        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
# x; L1 ?* H2 ~( \/ ]1 N8 ^' ^        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

0 t0 r, \' P5 r' x: g; u( |QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
# k6 n* v+ d2 h8 N4 {•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
2 n6 ^  E4 w9 [/ z, q4 W9 l0 i•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
* ^- `/ M2 L6 K. C* S4 j•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
  U( @6 V/ I: ~. t' a' G•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) K; K( l, f! A5 ^" b•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
3 c8 y4 h( ]* g& t+ I5 N$ N; e•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
1 ^  B$ G: j9 w4 c. d* G6 ^4 X•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
1 p: b1 I" }* h$ O. `( e•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
