& H/ a2 v  T  `/ DReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
, Q3 ?1 `/ p* ~! O2 G) h1 P        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
$ e6 R+ R0 `) {3 J4 F: X        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

% @- q/ I8 m5 t; HQUALIFICATIONS:
: U8 [$ w$ M+ t•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
+ z1 ]/ `5 ^1 y  [5 }0 V, W- F•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
' w0 L3 H' z( j* m: v•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
