MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
+ P3 }, [1 ]: G4 N- b  ~/ D" l        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
6 T' Y1 V: \( N. @, e4 y•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
  Y+ i4 g1 Z# w' Z' P  A2 G. x•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
! I( c/ G2 M5 P2 p* r: p•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
5 C2 p0 z% @) ^# n•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
! \" N5 U& _8 L, T  b•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
+ G8 m* m- [& N4 q0 X+ I•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
