) \4 B! X8 ^3 r$ z* ~( TReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

5 ?/ K- p; `: J+ V: l& J& l% r; _KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
2 I4 `8 ]0 j* h  i6 q! L' B( ^        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
% _, m3 G# [/ P: y  ?2 o: _•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
% A1 T  K6 w$ ]  B7 R! m•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
  ?* t* }; }7 e4 C2 P% \•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
: F) h* H8 {% d. B  n•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
* H% |, j% h5 q3 Z. s- k•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
