Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
) r3 A" F! v7 k& v7 h2 Z& O        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
2 {+ {2 F6 A  N        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

; P2 V/ O+ [% |$ ~4 m' P5 ]QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
( M, A4 I% b) h•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
+ y; e9 j( E2 A/ Z% }$ U•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
9 Y$ w, [, k9 ]2 U1 k4 K•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
