He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.

! T$ r3 s1 `7 lWhile on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management.  In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Tim has served 424 in a number of roles:

    * Shop Steward
    * Chief Steward
1 l7 d* L; _( z* y: k    * Local Treasurer for five years.

! N: f  ^0 T  r$ ]" e0 y$ Q8 C( j7 rFor four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002. In 2004 he took over the reins as 424 Business Manager.
