He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.1 O$ _6 ]' x) C( T8 ~7 y' v' P1 C# k
( h! L5 z/ S% Z0 k: q0 p; C" r
While on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management. In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

For four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002. In 2004 he took over the reins as 424 Business Manager.
