7 e7 x# G  V- c" c+ CAround 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.

Fire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.

"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."

- n  l. Z1 F. G) ]5 M$ OWilson says fire rescue responded with trucks from three houses because of the flammable chemicals housed in the building.

7 o8 V6 l; X6 C% ]8 e"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."
