What Makes Christmas Magical

pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then / @# T# d- {0 ?* y3 @
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can
3 \8 i& F/ {, @9 {5 }( Osmartly avoid it?, ~( W' \3 Z7 r. v
?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out 9 J2 k: I/ y% F  n
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
+ ?- @; o! z% Z9 w/ Sto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of : `% P7 q6 K% J5 V' D. t
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a
$ K" Y: k6 W. V3 M- S  _- n0 p8 UBudget.'

are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays " w" d; \  L7 V* R& x- }: V8 S# C" s2 q
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more
+ D4 p* N# Q% Y2 b2 U# g4 Grelaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower.
; ^7 a4 d/ P* a5 [6 t; O7 V* [?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to # p9 h  k& }  h  D8 F. ^/ ?
substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with
7 ~, I. D! }4 t& X, h8 ybreakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
+ q( J. P! @1 Y' W9 Lfrom the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to 3 u2 S( c0 T- D% p# U
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into ) p8 `( t5 y( S# p1 r. l0 l+ @
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will 7 S! p! N* r8 o* y* N9 [; R9 H
be watching how you really eat. You can always have a few candies, one cookie or

% A6 U& W" ~& `+ D7 ~and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating + Y. m! N+ o& x
healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down
4 h) v6 @, J, G% Q. D* _- I2 rupon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate
+ [8 B7 W4 N) h9 }6 `; Ncandies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies. ) [/ t. [/ A4 X6 I# \& W. n
It's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners 8 `. H  j2 I, @0 u$ n  F. b

At a party where more desserts and sweets are likely to be available, a few of
