Position Summary:
7 l- C3 P# ~0 B+ ZThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.7 n; n( V( ^% K/ k* r% l, Y

6 i$ J* }: l  s1 e4 J# B8 R§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers% @. c' N3 @& o
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
5 k& [: z; s, t5 @; k§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation# {' @5 `: y, ^: }
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times+ z2 b$ w0 Y# h, T
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
& u' N+ I; Z4 S5 n9 ]§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert7 d$ N( s5 D3 e5 Y9 K; q
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

Qualifications:, |' @6 ?# @9 T, e7 s! e
§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience5 e2 i, o( G, u) |( M8 @4 T
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
7 @$ \( p; H/ x0 ~1 l, A§ Fundamental commitment to customer service4 F$ T- G, X' M8 a% b
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
3 b- D; J$ H5 O; i, {- N( x5 b" {§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware! c6 X9 y8 Q/ c- r, D# A. p0 {- x3 a
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software# G( Q, C# W! H
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

Position Summary:, _3 P0 j9 z% k
The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:
" ~' }2 G( X0 y0 U§ Manage a stable local IT environment
) M% p# K6 |; R§ Manage and coach staff in IT group' g+ @7 x: l' p0 f' ]) b2 ?
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support
% J8 \; L* ^  ~+ M( Y& ]§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives5 h' ?4 ]! y  _9 r# w) ~
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports" e& f5 h0 ]" h. z! i8 V# Y
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
  Z- k' B! |$ N9 `! i§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
' e% s/ D0 S7 f4 v) Z§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
8 A' C" H0 b4 h* o§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
8 M6 ]2 ]  b* I% t5 ]§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures$ t' @4 s+ A% T6 O, P7 N% ^
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
- G4 _( G) O5 j§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
5 F/ {1 y) |" d# n§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance) }, }3 o) j) N7 {+ K; [- N
§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT8 C' o2 X( @6 P, z
§ Coordinate and support end user training8 k$ E% n7 g& [3 @( @5 h8 _1 {
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
5 r, `$ l. n1 I7 E8 }§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance1 `& r# |4 u% [* B3 D5 q
§ Manage all printers in the building

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
