Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

% G  H, \* f# qI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
8 u0 K; E* [: Y. F# KOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
2 M) {0 o- }' B6 p; ~Another said:” maybe means shutdown.”
1 u5 @1 E  d: Z, U) HMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
