Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
7 ~9 P4 Z! |2 K! Z& K- c% ^The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
/ p; `  t& N) e5 X+ ~The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG
