Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
7 A4 E- A6 r6 L7 c8 o5 }; |The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
2 E& L& y+ Y& s8 yThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
" O/ L1 O) c7 q6 AAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

+ Z: j8 P) O) pOfficial gas mileage is  MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29

Conversion:
1 Litre =  0.264172 Gallon
) o* O) }9 a! A+ C( f1 Km  =   0.62137 Mile
