Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb ' l. S# p" b$ Q( J: _8 [* I9 iThe gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then " m2 Y- y3 C- aThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) 3 U x8 v5 q. m2 rAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG . h8 {; I( r. x$ N) o/ _ / i/ l2 G+ `- J7 [* GOfficial gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29 6 b: A9 [) i# O h& ^0 D( P# Q; z& ?9 H* ~
