Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
; U; W  R2 _% A  VAssign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
5 T# O3 V4 H7 n3 b3 u; aAuthorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
) u( z% h2 d; H' [: |- q2 o6 bSell merchandise to customers
( k# z0 Q7 k# U" l& n+ n. j7 VResolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
8 F# X* Q2 O8 e; Q2 ]( G& y; PMaintain specified inventory and order merchandise
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- S/ Y8 Z& b& R; w3 t3 PHire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

Employment requirements:

0 H7 z4 k3 q5 K3 U7 E) R" @         Completion of secondary school is required
        2 - 3 years work experience as retail salesperson
