西区环境很好，但有一点可能要注意。
/ `: C6 m9 u) V& `2 n' d( d据说在很多年前，西区有些地块是湖泊和沼泽，其土质比较软，地下水水位可能比较高。因此此地区的建筑地基要求比较高，譬如，Landmark 在很多小区采用20几尺的深桩， 很多新建房也备有应急排水措施。在该区买独立房，该房地势和排水可能要加以重视。Condo 应该没有问题。

the hamptons 大慨包括三个小区 (Parkland, handpoint, and copperwood).

优点：
; |3 X. C) [* n( m1> 绿化好， 公关用地比例高。
2> 西靠indian保护区， 都是森林，而且将来不大可能继续向西开发了.
9 q5 M; e8 @) o* H6 q3> 有K-9 school in the area, will be open in 2010. a high school had approval and under development.
0 L* A" Y, l4 W4> 有recreation center 在建(网球场， 游泳池...)，
5> 交通比较方便 (对有车的人来说).

缺点：
1>公共交通不如南边和西南方便
" d% r2 W- a: U& j+ u2>相比西南来说不是热点地区
3>到downtown 是东西走向， 开车时阳光对眼睛有影响

新学校就在HARDY POINT大门 的正对面，进HAMPTON沿着海明威路走开车2分钟就看到。
