PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. — A strong earthquake occurred early Tuesday in the Queen Charlotte Islands region off of B.C.'s central west coast, according to Earthquakes Canada.( W6 G0 ?$ m; i4 D

The area where the earthquake struck is located about 260 kilometres southwest of Prince Rupert, B.C.
