  p* c! R* L5 y, x& u! V" NThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
2 v4 e" c: \; C+ q) K4 YPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

9 }% c5 I" N4 P  aYou must be/have:
! U: s: T1 H/ B9 C  C• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
# S5 F* |3 C' ~/ j+ [• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
