  g) |1 J( o$ I  \! s5 r' V4 t) zThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
2 w: w' a. f" @7 O% b3 \1 O2 ]# xYou must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
0 t2 ^6 k  j4 s% R6 {- z8 u5 E5 E• Unemployed or underemployed
& |* X  _5 |: S3 u1 [1 c• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
, m' F: D2 Z1 i: h0 \* G• Good health and physical condition
/ i9 H) L" y* X• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
9 A" W2 w5 X5 n6 I7 F• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
9 J" _% L6 ?5 E/ S• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
