Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.$ E& _8 i' I$ i6 {! 8 x. @. x/ |- W3 f5 MWe are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.6 _* v: p$ _& ^! K. Q+ a

Position Summary

& Z' c# P& c8 d; {; i: T1 X" h•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
8 s: Z5 r! g# D/ W0 ]•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings   [" F4 |8 [) U- b) K
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach 8 E, c6 h" q9 `4 Y- V. U
•        Promoting TBL products and services
; p1 }8 j; @, i" X5 V5 f- z•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance - }& k! Z. M' m4 U
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables , X, r. t1 y! H  g! C
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta   s, ~7 \7 j1 q$ o* Y9 p
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry* j- k& X9 v. C0 C+ [) P  C+ @
•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program
- J) j% n% g8 ?3 K•        Arranging catering for various meetings
7 b6 b# G4 ]7 c•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office

Qualifications" {+ o/ K$ O: E: Q

0 {, I% R' S' K7 SEducation and Experience
* J4 J' t5 Z! P8 p4 U$ U9 F# U+ W0 w
•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
/ u6 m+ U# h: e* v+ E, p: s* s•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
) [. f6 z5 D$ t- m4 Q•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.6 e2 d; F6 i3 M) F: K

        Strong work ethic5 I4 D- E% ^7 @4 m) a

        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook: K8 S0 o& w1 M7 ^2 j7 N, p. m+ E8 F
        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions

        Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking abilities% h  v: d- t% B! @
        Continuous learning is essential to perform job effectively
