Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

# a" s% C5 o. w2 S) R! z9 ZPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.3 M- H! C8 }0 j/ X' J( n2 @# i

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van., {- s0 X3 E/ ^1 o; y7 A8 Z1 I

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.& y6 h1 Z. {9 a/ v

Charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking have been laid against Dihn Xuan Luu, 44 and Deng Xuan Dihn, 51. |
