: y* h! O: @* {1 e' _$ A• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
' [% Q% ^+ }! ]• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
+ P' F- W9 q, h, T, X" vdistributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
( Z: C, f( J; e, G+ U• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
/ O$ f: K$ [! u2 I6 R8 y• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
1 m" X5 `% j: o( x• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
+ W( r( C9 t$ o• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
3 Q% x) o, I9 E% ]) {8 `• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
6 C' D) v# x( N* k7 l/ h' B9 s• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
5 z+ \- r; f, \7 F7 P• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
; o- Z/ C$ _* n& B( s• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
* j% K# i: X" K4 Q" R+ g• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
" M+ u, O6 j+ s, Y/ V* ^4 w• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
( D6 Z* Z5 ~0 v& X8 M$ e. \4 u, ?• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
, i" g/ X6 R/ R, bresolution.
8 F/ z: d4 ^# K0 x• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
4 t* A# D* ~4 z2 j+ q. X• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
' D0 Y" K- R/ G- J/ z• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.

8 X8 G% `. m0 F8 z  ^$ {3 |4 ?• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
# ?; j0 @  p' L/ L• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
# o  Y0 g* E7 r& L1 x7 c; p• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

( N% E5 c* p7 {% DEducation / Experience
& X4 u8 B: }; i" o9 Z* Q• Grade 12 / GED.
5 U4 i6 s* p" }• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
* B9 C) Q3 h) g6 e; L• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
- n/ e; s: \& q5 ^9 x  q• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
: _  g$ b! q& M% ]• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
