There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.# V8 y2 E1 d- N6 Q+ W6 Y
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.! c1 ?- @7 {/ u" B+ s
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.$ I. w& Z8 {4 }+ G) |1 H$ S! m, ^

/ c: L& `. K( Q: kThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).$ f# w1 N/ B5 M8 L8 D5 r5 r+ Q
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
* i" V: }$ C0 gThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
