There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
4 Y4 k% {. b4 i4 [* q% ^: A/ RPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.7 x# z3 n& k T, j3 S, }
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
' M9 V+ q- H6 U4 H3 \! AGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
7 Q$ Q9 r: W; B/ OThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.) F }$ g* X* M# F# @" @7 b
7 B ?- X( O# H- Q" P" RThere are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
