There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.7 d$ D9 G+ A0 {4 J/ z% A
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
1 K9 w! P! s/ b2 yIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.6 c$ z6 M3 D1 o; E1 Z/ |" p

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).3 ^( u2 c1 o9 |6 ~
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.% Q" L ?# K9 M2 A5 W
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
