Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential- a' @- G1 A' |+ G; f
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
' N4 u0 A" i, |# B( q# |) ~program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work0 i1 d! t2 r' y: p! {5 i9 i' ~
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
) M0 m* p" F, {warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food: o- x' A% H0 c3 B1 G
services and others.! D+ C6 H' H V: w
: i/ D" w* E. F0 nCandidate Profile:

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
! D& h* ?! R* g3 U9 \# Gcitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
4 E" w# b6 y" T* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
+ b. j5 V! K c- v- t( y) u% N* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
( e- }9 o# G: t6 psecondary education8 Z% n' Z0 V2 j I* p
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand. `4 s Q8 D1 p* a8 z7 E ^ O

* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
