Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential4 U, F2 z2 C! W
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded+ Y8 e/ x0 W/ c% \$ W8 G) y1 D5 H6 L# }
program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work4 H$ {) @+ K7 Z( g
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as6 k1 F: m$ y% S% V8 X& r) `, c
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food/ _! d7 G: c3 _: ~5 S
services and others.

; |7 {3 V+ N4 v+ F, j! JCandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian5 d4 p$ E: ]4 J3 l
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
7 ~2 C. O3 C! h5 s8 j* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
: _ m4 a& O9 k E! O. f8 @* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-

* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand$ M4 f) f* O) O% \* C; h

* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
