Recently learned from this forum, a lot of people have been looking for/viewing/purchasing a house, wonder if everyone knows, other than location, sq footage and age, there are other factors that make a house priced differently from the rest. Hope someone will share what they know. I think it would help those who are in the hunting process.

1. 50 years warranty singles vs 25 years ones. % ]3 h& T' c* ~ h. ^2. garage w/concrete foundation vs. those w/footings. 4 D& P) n6 P+ N6 m3. wider stairs vs. standard one (36"). 7 M6 I' E% W3 g/ R& e7 A* U4. Steeper roof pitch vs. normal roof.# d* i c; j& v5 ?* y% Q
5. Cathedral ceiling vs. 8 ft ceiling.3 `0 ]" w! W* n# {0 J" v+ I

A all hardwood flooring may not be practical, new products are coming out everyday, cork flooring may be another option; more nice designs/patterns show up in the recent 2 years.
