7 @, w/ i% _; D7 tI surfed this website, it offers quite a few ,probably every kinds of orchids, for me , I only know the Phalaenopsis Orchid. How should I say, it is too complicated for the entry level orchid lovers.

1 I* \0 H, K1 |. DThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

You may wanna try the following easy genera:
0 Q& r9 I* E1 a9 X7 X( M% ^6 A( rCattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
. c' A  |/ s+ V8 K- W4 W$ PPhrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
6 ?# }# s) t, h4 F* P; HOncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
/ C) h) R* k5 p( I7 |3 `+ k$ NDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR
; T" R. M! C# M; K1 c# ^
% P5 D8 h; F: ]) F3 C( ]Join OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
