Also on Monday, Croatia's health minister said an earlier report by a WHO lab reporting the country's first case was a mistake.

( H) G# \/ }! MWhen a WHO lab based in London doublechecked the finding, the tests were negative, said Health Minister Darko Milinovic. Earlier tests at a Croatian lab were also negative.

On Tuesday, health officials in Quebec said two more people — a man and a woman each between the ages of 30 and 50 who lived in the Montreal area — had died after contracting swine flu.# V; m- u$ g8 ~" s9 u5 X5 A A% S' Y

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, 4,049 cases have been confirmed in Canada as of Monday, including seven fatalities. |
