(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

4 G5 G0 a' X, r, PActivity Planning and Daily Activity
4 p$ \" U5 w9 J3 C& n/ D• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.) |, c c+ D' c( T H- P2 Y
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
( {/ p: Y1 p0 M- j6 T+ C$ M3 ]• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, - \) U9 ^0 O; C3 r9 t- W% ?( n
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
: ^8 c2 ]5 A' g' S) t. M/ S• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
( F& \! c, L% l+ k9 K• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.7 p0 A4 v" G& f& C

The successful candidate will have:
( q) u' C6 M4 K6 m9 U6 ?. X4 B1 `" \; w6 t• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
" b2 G3 z8 m: M) H• Experience with children6 c0 o2 E& e% B+ v# O7 c
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
. h$ o& T- G V" X• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
6 v& U, S* s( | s• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.# [9 \6 M& T6 f$ [
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources7 ^8 Y* t" h3 l# W' W* [& D
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check $ D) C- E, w0 l4 y( D
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
