Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. / H/ [7 B% U9 w2 X- J2 i3 O2 s
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
8 X- R8 ~ s$ X# b! S9 R& n! j) OMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
6 U" d5 A# w1 Q' I# f: }, zMaintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
3 \' _" Y' L; b" m( d9 IWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. 0 T r1 [& t) t
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 7 j7 s% J; M/ \( k) y
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux ' }$ H" _+ { m2 n& H
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience : Y" Q" p, O2 l+ n: a
Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. ! P& l7 l& g$ H& e0 Z9 {/ {4 m
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability. ' R; k4 t( M% D$ z; [# V1 _: c/ ^( w# x

Candidate must be willing to travel to client site and must have ability to work in both United States and Canada.
