Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

) p2 U* [0 l, u! ]$ Y9 v1 \1 `Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
9 g  m5 ]2 ?8 a& ^3 W# L To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
5 f. [3 A. u7 ~9 \ To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
. H" |' S& r7 a1 y" V( n4 } To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
) Y! p& O5 }5 ~: y' R3 S3 J5 F; M9 | To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
' f6 V% c! r, W% u# I) x* O To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

$ q  v* D3 `# U. b% o* m) h$ yQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
6 Q- N' X. n( h$ I- v 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
9 l' A: e' S5 r2 d Current CPR and First Aid certifications
' J4 e9 R$ o- ? Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
