Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
- D  O9 L; K8 h( C To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
# R) w: j( \/ o. E To help promote the program in the community.
( `, J9 ^% X- [$ y To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
! O: b$ d' }! W0 I+ N To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
; a% P/ s1 ?) r3 f 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
* h, I$ _# [" D$ |* p2 c" N1 g Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
8 k; b2 F( `/ P' L5 o' s Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
