Housing Program Worker

  g5 e1 e& Y7 DKey Responsibilities:
9 d, R6 n& W7 k9 ~! }; e To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
* k3 @. E' ?2 n3 L: D To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
% u2 l# w, h5 z. v To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
: L$ \' F; c! h8 f5 ?5 k, X To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
2 P: C) p  T- z  s# ` To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
! q( `- \1 _0 E6 k% Y5 v2 n" k0 I To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

9 Z( x2 [& e$ o3 u& l# iQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
- r, N: A& h9 |6 Z- a  w Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
) `+ s4 s: q* q$ y) J- |, q. }5 o: M Current CPR and First Aid certifications
; s4 W$ C8 i) M6 g6 m* v Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
