The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators./ J& O8 u, n4 F8 K4 c9 i/ ?$ y

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

$ f& _+ H4 [- @9 }. ~• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities , G- ^; ^( t8 Y1 \9 k4 {+ Y
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
9 ^% |7 X r. H& p' F8 j• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
5 r# z7 Y" c) ?2 ]7 d4 ?( z; @• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services; z4 V4 u( n2 p! c
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities- o, @9 O" ~# y1 W4 h

Program Delivery
2 s! p) ^' @3 A3 U" {: @• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program / H5 |1 J1 K; W ^, k- b B _
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes0 j4 i% Z$ Z9 ?" t0 K1 Q- l4 J
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
$ O9 `; T5 |, y. F• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication. \* b/ c* o3 ]4 V
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested1 i6 l7 V4 X$ F0 g$ ?
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
) A) K7 D3 p ?& p) v' U• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program& {6 a; }8 ]8 M5 A4 I
• Implement service modification, as required

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director9 V3 b6 a j' ^& x: R" g; I
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
7 i: N L+ J. I7 ^• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required, } H# {' K$ G' L# X

Qualifications:
) h6 U& Q) o5 k7 Y4 i3 p! e
- {% f& Q7 O+ Y v0 d• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field2 V$ L, x; p8 q; Y% C
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
) r' o5 ?6 A, X( L( l• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
/ F% a$ v5 W2 Q" W1 {& }• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
$ C0 W- P3 i7 J• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
