The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.$ t9 ]; Q( e: P4 F$ ~! ]; P

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.8 Q- j5 S) L- |3 |4 z

Job Duties/Responsibilities:0 z& v B, P8 I0 G
• Human Resources Management
: y: A, }1 n2 l4 F, a• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities + f( W8 t+ k, E p( c* F( j
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
) `3 ?' z/ j1 |# p• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities( g1 B( X2 J( U2 c& r3 T
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
; R" I# x' ^5 V; j1 D8 b* z$ k• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities% n, d$ E- Q* @4 w- b4 Y7 i* Z; r7 y

Program Delivery# C% l- Q1 p" F
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
, h) \/ ^, o- a! U# x• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
- j9 n* p. o6 _8 X7 W. d" F5 y• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required' G2 M, x' N x1 G- r
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department0 E" q/ I N6 g) X
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director, I/ Y2 g( V/ t/ Y5 E1 F7 d- b2 \
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:) f/ x- O }* i/ E: h
8 P( X1 w. G3 [& a" R• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field- C [' I" B1 g; R& M
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
4 r* h* o. U+ S• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience5 v6 H$ Z& Q: Z. d+ W2 E
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
8 M' Q3 h: V3 L' _6 f0 Q• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
9 F- A1 [- `. `9 A7 f e• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office3 x! i) M2 |/ w5 a
