The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

, g) [- E+ H6 N( ?• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities , s& X$ b. q& u
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
3 t2 ~8 c/ q h# t K• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
8 r5 I7 h7 v! t! n) P" U• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services' H8 R6 `+ n* j+ W
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 3 Q% E& ]9 r7 B" }$ U0 U) i
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
[% J% f5 g4 g: i7 P• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required. C4 Z% w } S# e4 e+ z ?0 P
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication* W) H6 ]6 a) t2 w5 _
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested# M% z2 p& B& Y! Z' Z% _
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
" L2 c2 ?! W/ d% }" a• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program% P( J4 b0 V7 R5 N6 {4 i) H5 T- a3 m1 H
• Implement service modification, as required% V& D5 n2 {0 \/ R

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
0 n5 b0 O9 A+ p5 u• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review! M! }8 n5 J1 X
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required7 H/ J3 k9 c. T6 o: B

Qualifications:: v) _ S" i7 d& \" y# l5 W; P# ~

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
7 M# J) `/ w$ x; B• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
% w+ c$ l: E3 ]9 E, Q. w• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience

• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population: z# X4 m: x+ R$ p6 j0 v+ q
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
