FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
7 p7 B0 {. L W+ X, g; xFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
3 t8 j" h+ `4 [$ w& o+ Bwell as the script, magazine and book library. 3 w) t) C6 ?" l' f- O; C: d( V
& ?% r8 [! q4 d1 m" n7 E& {- g' C& TDuties: & V; B7 A. h/ o3 b4 {. l3 f
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ( p4 C) \9 j9 e* ]: A
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
' B4 J7 f2 e: s) U( o, Z# e/ K- Implement a catalogue template for future use % d- R1 \2 E. Z3 P& ~% C, M
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
4 D/ G! N K, @' u- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 4 D' Y- W' z% a0 \

- Strong organizational skills 5 j( t% R2 ^3 x& n+ o
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
