FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

0 i3 I2 P1 K( @Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive 6 j# ]& v4 d$ @, D
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
: x) ~/ ^7 L7 D% Y5 Dassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

8 N) ~# `2 x7 n2 H5 z9 GDuties: : z3 c/ r7 J. {7 `# F' f
- Assist with research on acquisition grants % P' q$ m2 h$ G/ b5 w
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities - i- X4 c) V& u9 K$ \" l b* a
- Assist with equipment maintenance
' X7 Y4 M9 X0 j/ ^: [6 t! M5 Y- Assist with production logistics for programming events 3 X# s0 n+ w6 i9 D% N% }8 @) z
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff 4 s- K+ h7 I( G) Q
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment ( s5 q+ i" Z2 V; W- ]5 q5 [/ z
- Advance organizational and research skills
