C. i8 e0 q0 M$ P$ k) {4 [FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ; A" H( `8 q/ u( \7 l6 J' K
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video " x8 @$ }/ \/ s1 p
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a - \* o8 {- w( e ] A
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; ]- B8 p2 f* U/ R7 x9 e/ @
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

/ `0 Z% C" \ _7 z, Q8 `0 WJob Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive & s7 }; X D5 h& f+ ]
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by 2 g* j' r4 _' x) }
assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

- Assist with research on acquisition grants ' ~* [7 P4 f- Z" w$ a! `
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities

- Assist with production logistics for programming events

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment ) ?% [# e' ~, l4 o a
- Advance organizational and research skills
7 E% R5 `* n# o: t+ A$ [% l- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD ) z- K" J) @. q* }% }6 O: ?9 |
- Strong team player abilities * B, _8 K; t$ p' x% l( N
- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors - q% f! B3 W3 P- R) \
