Key Responsibilities:
2 p1 G: O& C7 H) g To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program. ; n4 g% O. N+ {, ^8 s8 {# u% d: |8 s
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs |# H& z. B4 w" ?& O2 Q
 To help promote the program in the community.
( I- x$ [8 ]/ o To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
! W2 ]& m3 g1 i3 ^ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.' D( G. t( }4 ?* n1 ~4 }6 h
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary., Q3 q* m! H6 t
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
. N1 O0 C" T. |; O0 c To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

, p" b4 v( F P6 D, iQualifications: (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)4 L- t8 ~# b. h$ n4 Z! k
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
/ }/ L& y' D4 G Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
0 u( C) p, Q, t+ v- [/ S Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
( ^5 |* {, j$ S- _ Current CPR and First Aid certifications9 g) |1 }, I. J- n% a( F0 t+ D
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance5 u8 U$ d# O( z( w) A
