Housing Program Worker

$ v( G3 L& Q/ g8 c7 |Key Responsibilities:
8 i! {5 R. `2 O/ m& ]; n To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
7 r& ^3 i" n6 ]2 o) c To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
# j. |; N1 _  P9 N To help promote the program in the community.
, U$ y+ A7 S& ]% `2 ]5 R' j- k, w To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
7 X' d. E8 }) W6 {: d$ c To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

8 k+ C+ d1 g" t8 i+ C7 EQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 e: R; i: d0 P! l9 S0 j 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
) {/ R# J+ ^; |6 I5 l# J+ r Current CPR and First Aid certifications
: s+ S6 b" y( Q5 j( E Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
