Responsibilities:
9 `4 w1 B3 ]2 w. B0 P( v$ \+ L* a% U- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
$ m- n9 R+ V: a- Provide orientation for parents
$ w, z9 H+ Z' I5 y6 X5 a" X- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
4 G+ F2 p1 |* g, L; G- Prepare final report for funding agency
( O) o+ q9 B# K+ K5 P) {  Q/ {* D% ?
$ P# W6 I3 h. W. L' Z' y# K8 iQualifications:

; B! y  s/ J. E- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ m) |4 w7 b* S5 b& `. C+ g- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 l8 c5 w% c: `- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
6 d7 u9 M) B' R' g- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

5 K. L6 T& M1 K) e( W! I- }- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
