Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
; R" A! S0 Q; e4 N# n/ o  {- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- _: ?. d+ {* u8 q- Prepare final report for funding agency

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
( z+ q" k9 y' @: w& }3 L  I- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
/ p  G- ?9 O9 W, j. X# R; V- good computer skills
$ {: l/ G. b* X1 c/ o4 y- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
