Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ) v7 N( a: o( g+ K- [5 t

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population " e% F7 J, R4 Z& ]; n1 r
access to mainstream services+ q9 p# A9 G1 s( m
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

# R+ X# X O+ {( I" ?1 k- K6 ~- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies# D0 Y$ O6 o' O$ r0 M( D$ T
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

Qualifications2 N# Q* ~$ s% Q8 z+ z: A
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 4 j# t5 |8 x: B9 z# C" |# A
experience and education 4 X" } y9 O- f9 f( b
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills' ^! |* ^ H8 I+ ~
- experience in community work and immigrant services
, I: ^6 W4 `" W- Y- experience in website update/design
* k4 H3 l, x2 u; V0 G' e5 ]- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
