Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
/ t, x* A+ S) V" N! w$ v        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
9 _: g, `) g0 M2 r, s-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
2 g) N5 P" }0 M  M; i" e: ?8 O-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

! T) m6 L3 @" g  B3 ^% pQualifications:
6 b" v3 Q2 P  |-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
3 C$ d. n; R/ V# g# a' v        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
9 n+ I- R+ D- f4 O  G9 b- Y-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
2 M. C% W+ |2 ]" |8 U-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
# I5 T' D- ^  }9 c- W1 F        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $14.00 per hour
