Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009 P6 W7 f7 {8 y

- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
8 u4 b2 e0 Q( f7 o& A$ b preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
+ c: P3 l- ]$ Q+ b9 `" `- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program# `2 |7 [' J1 @: h$ a# _% t7 [
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies4 u, {' ?8 n! f: G
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

Qualifications:
! [- p/ l+ Q% \: f+ z- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
! [. A0 k, W9 S) w Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education3 ~- P6 b% _! H
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children6 h- i/ t, o6 e
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills# l& T6 ~0 w% @7 F
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
& ?: a7 K; r2 L3 f- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
' b6 Y& P% F' `0 `6 x5 n- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
# d% I1 m2 q% n e: j- t- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

0 B9 g4 h, d! j# @- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) 9 `" X6 v" B6 L" ^
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
4 c. v3 m) C( W+ j- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
