- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 7 b/ p- L( F \. X1 J& S6 z
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps( A9 W- |6 U1 E" Q& u* ~5 ^
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
9 n1 D8 k M0 r/ U- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
- d8 K# I/ A1 |, K1 B6 n, R) h- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program / E, b8 J( S6 }* \: v3 @% b& z

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager" h' i7 T* a9 m# y: M; i! @
- ?+ F+ H0 P' WQualifications:7 u% c- `, ]0 o, H) s: K& z$ y$ p
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
# x, k; i4 q; a( D6 Q% J8 V3 ] Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ Y* \8 g, Q3 C5 P2 f6 K- j2 V6 l- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
8 b9 m8 m3 n7 q- V( n+ @- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills$ g. p% J, g' C$ |2 _5 q
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities5 G i4 o* J$ Q7 K; N. ]
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese' o+ q4 P7 i0 s7 Q
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
+ I9 o. @0 _+ b5 T8 m( A- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other Information:
r6 h' ]7 A) a" U4 I- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
! @; Y/ g% y" S7 ~3 b4 d h1 M and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)9 U6 c! `, s# `7 z O$ b
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
