Summer Job Opportunity for Children’s Summer Program Coordinator, 2009

- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program

- Recruit children for summer programs

- Record keeping
1 t7 h3 x3 q+ A" s- Provide orientation for parents

- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager) c1 m v2 p h* Y' t; m

3 C8 x! I5 |' A& k. Z- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
3 i5 S% ?4 @* j' n- Z$ j- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
0 j, ^6 G6 F0 z# w* v( |0 V6 c- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills3 z' j% f$ [/ P+ v6 O# z
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities

- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities. G$ x$ \% g6 |# g0 X' @7 V
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other Information:
: V7 P- L( q( l! E0 T+ w& S- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
; E( h+ N# r: N- c, ]5 C2 Z and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
