7 M0 j* n  e% [    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
9 _/ c- w- f- R6 k* P2 Z- S    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
: C7 v9 F* L0 h4 F9 k) M/ S) r    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

" ?% z  p- `* h    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

/ j" Y! M/ l8 {1 i0 a  I0 X好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
; t; O0 V5 n0 S- y! w/ zwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

# z3 @0 I2 ?& @/ M, h0 M: Gti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
