@) f4 |3 y8 v& I * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

* Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance# r: v% \4 f: B' [, o6 B5 j
* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

P * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
