A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.3 ]" n/ E( m$ X; V1 H
This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and
( E7 n+ z1 U: i. C: B4 Jknowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

1 ]4 ]5 W. |* Q* ^• WHMIS
. |% w8 J( S3 a* l j9 j• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care6 P7 w6 I7 F$ v8 u* h8 T) P* Y
• Components to improve communication skills( i: T/ R0 [$ W% X7 ?: P
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search* x4 _% h( z6 C7 Y; G& l. s5 n
• Practicum Placements$ R. q6 t+ Z, \3 ?" Q3 U, p
Eligibility Criteria
T- U1 F5 C* G' l/ E/ X• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen! y1 Y7 i4 f/ T& [
of Canada
$ g" j/ P/ |1 L0 Q• have a Social Insurance Number/ v3 Q" g" v/ h% z7 Q' }8 L
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check( K! }% j ]9 k
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
$ R5 l/ w P* C7 G; d• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
