The whole COMPLAIN day in FM....pay attention to each penny !!

ISSUE ONE: CRA........."WAIT"
& `# d- G( C( g, G" U0 z7 q* p% M: W% |& J
In the early morning,phone CRA to ask "whether university health insurance charge to international student can be counted as expense ?" .THE receiver told me "WAIT,call this number:1-800-959-8281"..Then i phoned it.They took more than 10 minutes to discuss my question,said:"WAIT,this number may help:1-800-267-5177".Then i jumped to another number again.I want to confirm my new address here,they said"why not confirm from the tax center?" i said there is no contact method online(St John's).They said"WAIT"Then came back without any phone number:"it took couples of days.You may check two or three weeks later."I got shock"i mailed them last week."Still the word:"WAIT"............................

4 O( j  \3 U7 ^It is a serious problem that what their customer services said are not the same.Once i moved in and needed to change a new number,they said"NO CHARGE".How ever,i was so angry that "THEY CHARGED ON MY BILL".i phoned them and they modified.MY GOD.
% P2 M9 N' l: T1 O$ |% {. I0 O+ Y+ V8 G1 f& ]4 C2 G
Still now.some customer services said:I am using Edmonton service.But some said i am using Fort Mcmurray.Actually ,before getting the BILL,they did not tell me the fact that there is NO FIDO network provided here.So there is no point that i can benefits from the unlimitted incoming here unless i pay extra fee to enter the ROGER net work.MY GOD.I WILL NEVER TRUST FIDO ANYMORE.

BE CAREFUL AT EACH PAYMENT FOR CELLPHONES.

ISSUE THREE:UPS! Q1 R5 O2 }0 K% V

' G) B9 a4 e1 o! MTODAY I WAIT AT HOME FROM early 9:00 am till 8:00pm for my package delivery fromUPS.However,there is no news from them.This is the reason why i cannot go to BIBIL STUDY.This is the second time i wait for the whole day.
- ~% h, a/ }: h' ^4 X6 J+ w7 s: x1 U: Y1 g' I( i
Last week:They phoned me and said"The service hour is 9am to 5pm."Then i waited till almost 5:15pm.Then ran to find friends upstairs,however i got a notice at 6pm when i was back.WHAT THE HELL!I phoned UPS,they said"WE OFFICIALLY WORK TILL 8pm"OK......

8 m) ^9 G* |( m. g/ a7 |TODAY,i wait for the whole day and even phone them at 7pm.Let us see what their explaination:+ i4 c, \5 D# a. X  G5 _
" Q0 Q  E. c% S# d
at 7pm,a customer representative said:YOUR PACKAGE HAS SCANNED AND ON THE WAY....................SO where is it????????????PLease be honest!!!!!3 q2 a  B0 D9 r

- `$ ~1 s5 t) f% H) }at 8pm,i did not receive anything.They told me:SORRY.WE RESCHEDULED.BUT THEY DID NOT REPLY.I was extremely angry " i checked the package from UPS,i do not care your internal issue.UPS needs to take responsibility.I need to talk with supervisor!" They are a little more serious.EVEN IF THEY TOOK MY PHONES AND GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME ON MONDAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.i am really disappointed..................cannot wait crying.
) m, ^& M: P" M, r+ t% H3 P$ i6 F4 u2 W& u  a8 Q) Z
ISSUE FOUR:BMO4 ^5 }0 t3 H% e2 C8 n3 P
, m" s2 w4 O1 y* n/ m7 o: L$ L' Z
BMO is the sad ending for today.They charge me 25 dollars for my statement  balance  is more than  my credit limit on Feb.18th.I  REALLY did not know there is such a rule on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another surprising part is ,i asked "IS 18th the specific date to check the statement balance?" He said"WAIT " and YES in couples of minutes.COOL.i learn so many things new in the whole day!!!!

I really learn so much NEW today...................

HOPE EVERYone can save each penny in the dangerous society............MY GOD!

UPS and Purolator

我從Florida搬來的時候,也是用UPS。
4 s) t- O+ f' N; q所有UPS的良好時間規定,在這邊都不管用。7 U( r  E# q* |; ]3 }9 T  r- V
因為UPS在這邊是subcontract to purolator (不知道有沒有拼錯!)
+ _# C1 j/ S0 ~# c1 w剛搬來的時候天天在家裡查行李狀況,等行李,結果等了幾天,也沒有人過來。所以打電話給UPS,結果UPS總說不清楚狀況。明明東西就是在Ft Mcmurray,還可以跟我講在Edmonton or其他的答案!/ T7 K2 b* l- ?: Q  j0 H6 g% Y
也有請UPS再遞送一次。UPS理論上就請Purolator再遞送一次!* w8 e% U& c; u
再等一週,結果還是沒有事情發生。剛來時,根本也不知道什麼purolator8 Q- h) l/ x+ S* t' `1 l
後來是問了另外一家快遞公司,才知道UPS在這邊subcontract給purolator' _% G7 R) ~6 \( |; F& `" {$ U( O
有一天上班的時候,剛好看到purolator的卡車,就在那邊等driver問狀況
/ _% q" R% e4 H1 NDriver說他們身上沒有電話的,所以你一定要在家等。他叫我最快的方式是自己過去他們公司拿。我有15箱東西,我自己根本搬不動。但是後來發現UPS跟本無法讓purolator再送我的東西到我家。

9 o$ P/ S2 R3 S0 ~7 j" ^! t, b最後我自己去他們公司搬了兩、三箱。看到很多箱子的狀況都是很慘烈,裡面的東西也是!9 m( K. x7 U5 n, [$ H. O
(箱子是跟UPS買的喔!) 然後讓同事開著公司的truck再繼續把我所有的東西搬回來。
3 K: O5 s$ F4 x' \; \7 j再剛來的時候發生這種事情真的是夢魘。因為想要找人幫忙也找不到人?2 i2 ~: P+ |+ c
2 e$ c: s7 g8 |0 p2 h/ g
在那時候我瞭解到一件事情
6 ^4 C" C# l' f2 w7 d! \, t5 M% V就是這邊的郵寄服務是一個nightmare/ d$ C% L- h8 o; B# f
這件事情,應該大家都有經驗吧!9 h/ {( |3 }2 U; A! _1 i  w
對我來說,這是在Ft. Mcmurray最不好的經驗了!8 q# |1 z' j: A' [, k
不過,話說回來,之後寄東西或是收東西,我就也習慣東西會晚到,所以也就是等!0 ]+ A( L, ~6 a' f7 x& R8 U
日子總是要過的嘛!天天哭也是過日子,天天笑也是在過日子。3 n% W7 u" y& @1 I9 Y
所以我還是選擇天天笑的過日子好了! # R! g9 u9 P7 H
% w7 c* z+ W6 E. Z! V5 a; k
但是我還蠻想要問問,如果要寄東西,哪裡的服務會比較ok?

在网上购物后,隔天查电子邮件order就被取消了,因为是FM没有办法delivery。。。

Call UPS customer service and ask for compensation,  you may get some of your shipping fee back.
+ p* \2 }2 g: g8 ^+ z% ]+ w2 dLast year I ordered a set of winter tires from the US and used Fedex to ship them, it costed more than $300USD, the shipment was delayed for more than a week, so I called Fedex and complained, they explained that Fort McMurray is a "remote area" and blah blah blah. But they finally agreed to give me full refund for the shipping fee. Saved $300.:)

忐忑不安的等待着nightmare coming。。。等UPS送笔记本电脑ing3 `& m0 ~& Y" C9 D/ s

+ `6 O- B) U, y1 {6 S* G& v不过上次在dell网购后,purolator的delivery还可以,没有耽误。
