Position           :   Laboratory Technologist
Responsibilities:      Processing and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Stem Cells
                     Processing and documentation of laboratory data  
                     General laboratory maintenance
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment
                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
                     Adherence to laboratory safety standards

Requirements:          Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Good command of spoken and written English
5 C! a+ A6 X& Z( [, i$ r1 ^1 q                     Certificate of competence in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Canadian Institution
                       or a foreign equivalent Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory setting
                       an asset Weekend duty on a rotational basis
$ s- g# P  S" g! R$ NAvailability   :       Immediate; probational specialized training period of 6 weeks
Salary              :       Commensurate with qualifications and prior experience

Responsibilities:      Preparation of Cord Blood Collection Kits
                     Pick-up and documentation of collected cord blood units

                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
