Diesel Car Can't star up again!

Diesel car is really hard to start in cold winter.

! w+ F$ F* l7 X3 X$ f* Y: n) AI have a 06 disel TDI, cound not start again this morning becuase there is no plug in on parking lot.

. _2 a" `6 f" J0 JLast time when temp dropped to -30, it was dead also.

I just wondering do many Chinese drive a TDI in Edmonton? I personally don't like a car need a lots of attention.

My Mercedes always start no matter the temp is. Might due to I use syn mobile 1 oil?

because you still have summer diesel in your tank,  summer diesel will gel up at  -12.

you should leave this car in shop overnight, let it warm up,  add in some diesel anti-gel addtives and fill up with winter diesel

This car was from Vancouver, maybe it is becuase of the fuel.

; H8 X" E% K) S9 x4 O% MWith Plug-in, easy one strike start, but without warming up, needs 5-7 times try.

. y1 x8 _9 w' f7 NI do follow the manual saying to the position 3, wait until the icon gone, still needs 3-6 times try in cold weather.

This TDI shows more concerns than the hard to start in winter.

when temp drops below -20, the shocks all around squeeze!

) ?, o- A2 \5 y5 |It is anoying and the VW says they can do nothing on this.

I am very disspointed with VW, last time I had a jetta city 2007 only 10,000km, the engine shakes like hell, and sent the car the VW, they say:"it is normal!" I don't think so then becuase a gas engine car should not behave like that, stering wheel is jumping (no exagerating)

) h; S* C9 r8 K3 @8 ySuzuki Aerio 2005-2006 have the same problem due to the wrong spec of the shock absorber, maybe TDI is designed for warm weather driving only.

again, dont put gasoline rules on diesel, they are different

冷油，比汽油车热的都要慢不少。
点车的时候，当然不容易啦。最好还是插电。

我开道奇的柴油车，冬天打火是费尽，除了柴油本身的原因，
我觉得车上的报警系统很费电，连续3天不开，估计就打不着了。
! t3 o' }7 H) M! Z9 ~
除了插电，还要把车头摆好，准备早上 借个火。
( B% d8 p4 X8 f, ^2 n9 K寒冬快过去了，明年再好好准备吧。
