Cantruss, 俺来说两句。。。。哎哟,谁在扔砖头?!
"Cantruss", as well called as "Uni-strud", or "C channel", is a very commonly used industrial/commercial standard framing/supporting material, usually used to make a sort of brackets as a support to Cable Tray by using spring nuts and bolts, or use "P Clamp" to hold pipes/conduits/cables, even sometime are used to bolt onto another material directly. # X0 ?* x1 W, I) B B

the most commonly used size of cantruss also called standard cantruss has its dimension of 2 5/8" by 1 7/16", with holes bored on either side or just a whole piece. other than that, we also use "shallow cantruss", which is half the depth of standard size or "double cantruss", which is pre-manufactured two standard cantruss simply back to back welded together.: M8 I* s- k8 x8 h4 E& g
6 H7 N- f p6 G+ j# ~Most cantruss are made by steel, however, we do see aluminum cantruss some time as well, for an instance, the rung or a ladder tray.

The best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!

, F/ J6 |; B% S' r3 ?/ c( r% _# RMost common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners8 o8 e$ J+ h) P5 @

- X/ y" B5 n- J4 [Steel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.4 e* {, F2 R! X2 E6 B
