How much is your receiver? about $400? some websites sell it cheaper, which is around 320, but I am not sure of their credibility.
i sell it for $550 plus LNB, The 18" dish , the receiver , hdmi cable , component cable , coxaial cable , usb drive , optical cable plus the software u need .....2 m9 Z! Q$ @$ W% K* t" O& M

Put the tripod whereever it is safe and secure, such as the the balcony or even the outside of your window. I noticed that there is a guy using a chair holding a dish in front of his yard. It should be safe. There are not many vandals here.
